Sunshine Creative Solutions has been a twinkle in my eye for many years. I have volunteered my time and talent to many nonprofit and for-profit organizations to help my community thrive by building workforce capacity, collaborating with multiple agencies, and igniting conversations about community needs. In my leadership roles, I was able to lead my divisions to success while build capacity of my team through intentional skill building and professional development.

Along my journey, I have met many talented people to help me do this work. Together, we want to encourage a strong community spirit. We are passionate about empowering others to find their talents and helping organizations find their community voice.

I am a proud graduate of Indiana University for both my undergraduate (Elementary Education) and doctoral degree (Educational Leadership). I hold a certificate in Project Management from Google and a certificate in Financial Success for Nonprofits from Cornell. I am also a Level 2 Certified Basadur Simplexity Facilitator for creative problem solving processes.

In my almost 30 years in the field of education, I have supported many organizations and schools through strategic planning, improvement processes, project management, and professional development. I recently added health & wellness to my list after the COVID19 pandemic revealed a strong need for self-care, response to anxiety and depression, and alleviating what I call the “remote working slump.” I am a strong advocate for individuals with disabilities and enjoy working with service providers in this field as well.

Why “Sunshine?” My oldest daughter was born to “Here Comes the Sun” and my youngest daughter is aptly nicknamed Sydney Sunshine. They are the lights of my life and I want to bring that light to your organization.
